Cleaners defend themselves against wage theft
Working conditions are often very bad in German hotels. Overtime pay is denied, the work load keeps going up. Housekeeping firms pay sickness and vacation benefits only in part or not at all. Also there is harassment by supervisors, written warnings and dismissals.
